LIVESTREAM OF THE TEATRO ALLA SCALA PREMIERE

On 7 December Armani/Silos rejoins the Prima Diffusa initiative and hosts the live streaming of the Teatro alla Scala’s opening opera-.
On the fiftieth anniversary of Shostakovich’s death, Teatro alla Scala opens its 2025/2026 Season with his masterpiece, Lady Macbeth of the Mcensk District, based on Nikolai Leskov’s story in which a young bride, with the complicity of her lover, kills her husband and tyrannical father-in-law, but is discovered and ends up committing suicide in Siberia, betrayed by all.
Musical Director Riccardo Chailly conducts the 1934 version, featuring the debut of director Vasily Barkhatov.
