For the new edition of Piano City Milano, Armani/Silos will host Mio Mini Piano, a unique experience that combines storytelling and music, transforming the space into a real piano laboratory. Giovanni Truppi, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, in conversation with Daniele Pintaldi, tuner and craftsman, will reveal the characteristics and origins of his modified piano: a disassembled, dismantlable, portable, amplified, and stage-reconstructible piano. A true acoustic instrument and the star of the performance.
Free entry, no reservation required, subject to availability.

Giovanni Truppi initially studied piano and later extended his musical exploration to guitar and singing. His eclectic and personal discography includes albums such as Poesia e civiltà (2019) and the EP 5 (2020), which is also the result of collaborations with artists such as Calcutta, Niccolò Fabi and Brunori Sas. An original performer, he uses an acoustic piano that he has personally modified: compact, dismountable and amplified. In 2021, he released L’avventura, a work that is a combination of travel diary and song. In 2022 he participated in Sanremo with Tuo padre, mia madre, Lucia, a song that won him the Lunezia Prize and the MEI Award for Independent Artist. With Tutto l’universo, he celebrates and retraces the first ten years of his career, an anthology that captures his artistic essence. His latest work, Infinite possibilità per esseri finiti, released on 28 April 2023 and a finalist for the Tenco Awards, was previewed during the tour of the same name, where music meets the refined shadow theatre of Unterwasser.
